The Thames is like a living graveyard, washing up new bones with every tide. The darker they are, the older they are; the colour changes slightly as they dry out.
Most are animal bones from when butchers tipped their waste into the river. The teeth below are large horses teeth.
Below is a hip joint, possibly from a sheep.
And finally, an oyster shell.
