I wanted to make my own response to Nkondi, which are religious idols made by the people of Kongo. Nkondi means 'hunter' as they are intended to hold spirits who can attack enemies and wrong doers. Hammering in the nails is known as koma nloka, to hammer in a curse, or to crucify.
