An artist's guide to research at the Wellcome

Recently I was commissioned to design a guide for artists wanting to research at the Wellcome. I drew on my own experience of researching the Adamson Collection. I decided to go with a zine format to make the guide as accessible and engaging as possible. The first stage was writing the text and then getting feedback on it from staff at the Wellcome Library.

The final guide

Next I designed how the zine would look. I wanted to try out risograph printing, which is similar to screen printing and photocopying. It is the best way to achieve neon colours.

Now the only thing left to do is fold 500 of them!
